The BoDeans, Americana-Rock-Pop Duo...with special guest gb Leighton
Perform @ Toad's on Monday, March 31st
The mac daddies of Americana, the BoDeans appear to be eternal, their own perpetual-motion machine. Even since before their blockbuster hit, "Closer to Free," TV's Party of Five theme song, the BoDeans cemented their place as America's premier roots-rock band with their T-Bone Burnett-produced debut, "Love & Hope & Sex & Dreams." Now Burnett returns to produce the band's March 4 release, "Still." Much anticipated, the 12-track record puts the band back in the national spotlight. "Still" rediscovers the group's heartfelt lyrics, passionate harmonies and ringing guitars, alongside laid-back grooves and upbeat hooks. With eight albums in the Billboard Top 200 and multiple singles in the Top 40, the BoDeans also toured with U2; appeared on Robbie Robertson’s self-titled debut solo album; and were named “Best New Band” by Rolling Stone magazine.
